door speakers

So, I'm installing a new stereo in my FD. I get the new Focal 6.5 woofer mounted in the doors and when I go to run new wire I find the electrics in the door go through a connector. Question is, how do I get new wires into the doors for the new speakers and the door lock actuator for the alarm? I'm not looking for a response like "drill a hole" (duh!) h

I belive the answer is, run through the stock connector and splice in before and after, or run a seperate line... either way PITA.... I personally haven't found a way around...

Well, I got very limited response on this (as usual) so I took a change aand went for drilling a hole. It actually worked out pretty well. If you remove the ECU and look behind it there is a perfect place to drill about a 1/4" hole. Same place on the drivers side, just remove the relay and viola! Once you drill the hole, knock the sharp edges off with a file, put on a touch of paint and install a rubber grommet (available at any Home Depot). I took it one step further and applied some black silicone to the grommet to keep the water out. I wrapped the speaker wires in black tape. You can't tell it's even there unless you look for it.
