Door speaker issue
Some background:I just replaced all my speakers because the others were blown(partially why I have the main problem). I have 6.5"s in the rear towers, the doors and 4"s under the dash. All brand new.
Problem: Somewhere between the factory and me, the old head unit was replaced. After I got all the speakers in and powered it up I realized that the doors weren't getting any power. I took the panels off and took a voltmetere and found out there was zero power. (I know, I should've checked that the first time)
Next step, check the connection to the head unit. I take it out and find out it only has the wiring for 4 speakers, the rears and the dash. I figured there would at least be loose wires that would match up to the door speakers and there aren't any loose wires and I can't find the correct colors anywhere.
Solution: Are there any suggestions that I could do to get power to the door speakers and have them perform as expected? I've though about splicing into the dash speaker wires and running them to the doors, but I figured I should ask on here first for better ideas or safety warnings (I'm sure someone will say something) or maybe an alltogether different idea? I can't imagine them selling a head unit that couldn't handle 6 speakers...

from factory the door speakers run to an amp and then to the dash speakers. if you did not take out the factory door amps you could still power them up and THEN run them with the dash speakers. the only porblem with this is that they will act as woofers only. so best thing to do is take out the factory amps and run new wire to the dash speakers.
