I have one 15" in my RX. Don't have a camera yet(Christmas get here quicker) but I have made a fibreglass box which uses the spare tyre area and nearly all the rest of the boot.
It sits at about a 45 degree angle about 10cms away from the back of the trunk with teh bottom of the sub flush to the bottom of the boot.
Dunno how else to describe it but just make sure teh sub is facing backwards on an angle, not straight back.

I have a Series 3 by the way.

I had a 15 incher in my rear hatch but i replace it with a real sub that is 12 inchs, the box is much smaller for the 12 inch one so its more realistic/pratical
