Dimmer controls- + or - controlled?
Sorry if this q has been answered- I DID search- really!!
I am installing a boost/vac gauge with indiglo and in the directions it states two different wiring schem.- one for + dimmer control and one for - controlled.
I have an 88 2nd gen and wish to know which is it so I don't blow up my gauge?
Postive or negative?
Thanks much in advance...

It shouldn't blow up th gauge... you will just get an inverted response. Ie. when you tunr the dimmer down the gauge will get brighter. If that is the case just use the other wire. You could always get a multimeter and test it though. If the wire gives you +12 V with the dimmer all the way up (brightest setting) then it is a positive dimmer. Sorry I couldn't easily find the answer... best way is to test for yourself.

True that. Well, since I can't fubar the gauge, I'll just give her a go. I am also going to look into getting my meter back from my neighbor
