Did my 99' spec light myself!
Thanks to a link to instructions that I got from this forum, I did the 99' round tail light conversion a couple of days ago. I like working with my hands and I had some extra time over the Labor Day wkend!
It took about 4 hrs to do. I also clean up the area under the tail lights -- very dirty since a lot of junk accumulate there. I am ready to show it off this Sat when I head down to Laguna Seca for a parade lap on the track -- sponsored by Mazda, of course!
I'll see if I can post some pix soon from Laguna Seca this wkend! Woohoo!!! I feel I am going faster already!

I also done the 99 spec light myself but with one simple change. Instead of spraying the black onto the lenses I had a vinyl graphic store cut out some squares with the correct size circles on them. I used the circles to position the lights and then over stuck the squares from them. The way I see it I can then dismantle the lights and remove the vinyl If I ever change my mind!!!
