I received mine on Friday, sent the photo immediately to Japan. The big photos like other posted here.
My friend said its the same thing, even says SONAR on it, which is the taiwanese company that manufacture it.
So Ebay are not replicas, in fact, all of these are replicas of stock rx-7 light. WiseSport did not manufacture it, easy...
They are all plastic housing and glass.
Light beam similar to stock, maybe like 5% brighter...that it.

I suppose the driver side can be aimed lower to compensate but I don't think it's too bad. I'll have to drive on some really dark streets to check lighting and maybe play with aiming some other time

I have been out a couple of times with mine on and went right by cops and all and no one flashed me or pulled me over. I have also driven with in back of a friend and no problems what-so-ever with them. I am going to take out the shield it has since my HID's have a built-in cut off already and see if it is any different.

I probably won't get to it this week since it is going to the body shop tomorrow to get my wing painted. But just as an FYI the one in the new housing is quite easy to remove cause it only has one screw and it is not like the stock one. I had it out at one point. It pops right out. I actually wanted to put my stock one in the new one but couldn't figure out how to get it out without ruining either the piece or the housing. So I just stopped trying to figure it out.

any update on this. I am very curious to see what effect removing the reflector cone that covers the tip of the bulb inside the housing actually does. I imagine that the HID kit with the built in sheild would not require this sheild.

I haven't done it yet. I'm hoping someone here has before I take the time to unscrew everything. The Silvania Silverstars, and I'm sure there are others, have a metalic coating on the tip of the bulb itself.

Removing the lens reflector cover didn't help the cut-off at all. On mine it only looked like it helped the glare a bit. So I say leave it in. I am keeping mine on with my Kaixen HID's which came with the built-in cut-off. I would imagine it would be the same with the SilverStars I had in there also but I am not sure since I had already converted my stock lighting over. BTW if you do want to take it out it is extremely easy to remove just unscrew it and turn it until it fits out the whole.
With the ebay lenses and the HID's mine all came to $514 (incl. shipping) and I could not be happier with the huge lighting improvement not to mention they just look sexy when they pop on.
