Yes its amber. I don't know if you can change the lights. I havent tried. I am sure there is a way.

 

I pop-rivetted my Autometer dual-gauge pod and it looks fine. At first it was a temporary thing cuz I had an other factory A-Pillar moulding that I was gonna use. So I didn't care about riveting the old one. But after I did it, it looked cool, kinda racy, and you really don't even notice it unless you REALLY look at it.
