i think i ordered that kit when i had my MCoupe. It was actually pretty nice in carbon fiber

 

I have parts of a CF version. It's peeling and looks bad. I'd give the "brushed aluminum" a shot though.

 

Is the double sided tape peeling or it's just coming apart?

 

i think the sticky is on the back of the actual appliqué so no double stick tape (from what i can tell) and it's peeling at the edges. the cut is odd too, so you have to be careful or it will look half assed.

I'm not trying to get you to not buy it, i think applied properly it would look better than the OEM plastic.

 

yea i had it on for about 8 months before i sold the car and it came out real nice, not sure how it stood the test of time .I guess its hit or miss.. ill see if i have any old pics around.
