interesting.... the DAD seats look exactly like the ones from summit racing.
my friend had them in his FD.... they rubbed against the door and he had to mount them acually to the chassis without sliders or brackets because the seat is tooo high... even now.. theres about a 2 inch clearnace from the seat to the headliner.

It looks like that fake carbon fiber vinyl stuff that they advertise as real carbon fiber. Can't stand it. Glad to hear you've got him on the right track though. I wish I could find something that's good looking, fits well, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I've sat in the Corbeau A4 seats in a friends CRX and they are very comfortable and mildly supportive. I think i'd like to get a set for my rx7
Right now though, i have my eye on these:
They are about $650 for a seat and rails. I'm waiting on reviews from anyone who's owned and have sat in them for long periods of time.

$750 a pair is pretty good, and at least there are no weird names on there. Like Dad, Bride, mom or whatever madness. Some nice MOMO or Takata harnesses would set these off.
man I didn't see that post ^ sorry...

Although they don't recline (Corbeau FORZAs, that is), don't forget that you can always tilt them back a little bit when installing them/putting together a bracket. You might get a little bit more head and leg room outta 'em that way.
I'm not quite 6'4", but I'm pretty close (6' 2" 185) and IMO it might be a good idea to find a local place who sells performance parts just to sit in a few diffeent brands. I'm pretty skinny for my height, but my hips are too wide to sit in a Bride or JIC seat.
Just a thought...An extra 50-100 bucks or so goes a long way in keeping your legs from falling asleep.

Memoryfab also makes nice seats. The FIA approved ones are tough to come by & expensive, but all all their seats have got a pretty good rep and they're some of the least expensive carbon fiber ones around.
