Cutting front bumper

Any one ever tried cutting the front bumper? I was thinking about cutting two small vents into the front bumper on either side of the front emblem. Something like the two vents on the front of an EVO 8. My goal behind this is to get some more air to my radiator. Any ideas or tips would be great. Thanks.
