custom sub enclosures for FC

i was looking into building a custom enclosure for my kicker 12....just wondering how some of you did it..
post pictures if ya have em....thanks

just buy a regular ported box, cut it in half, stick it in your spare tire well, put the carpet back up, and your good to go. except if u need some sound dampening, just put some dampening cloth around. cant get any simple than that.

eh, i'm about to make some custom boxes so i can install them into my storage compartments. All i'm going to do is take out the compartment latch/cover/door and make a custom face for it.

and another tip, don't use any "generic" ported box's. If it's not custom tailored to the specific needs of that sub - it'll never go as loud, or sound as good. Even a sealed box (of the required size!) will outdo a ported box that's not been designed properly
