Custom Enclosers Help!??!?

Question Custom Enclosers Help!??!?

i own a 88 turbo2 and i want to build some type of encloser that will eitherfit inside the storage bins behind the seats or replace them all together. my main motivation is security so i would like to find a way to inlcude the stock lid so i can lock the speakers up or make one. i have 2 12' alfasoinic subs. any one have any ideas or suggestions??

Well, they're not in the storage bins as you want it... but anyway. I heard that the sound from the bins is far from the best you can get.

What do you mean? There is absolutely no way mine will move; it is stocked between my strut towers and the rear of my car. It would have to flex a LOT to get to me in an accident. If it ever happen, I think there would be many other factors that'd cause me injuries or worst.

And the others... well, they must be fixed. When you custom fab something you must have the creativity to secure it.

no, i mean security from theft. im not concerned about them moving that just takes a few l brackets and some screws

Ok I understand. The best way I can think of is to use hallen screws and to fix EVERYTHING! Hence, the only way a thief will be able to achieve his goal will be by breaking everything. At this point, there isn't really anything you can do.

Think about it, if someone really wants something, there is always a way to steal it... always. Your best bet would be to put sensors everywhere on your car and to connect them to your securuty system, and to put carpet ON your sub so it won't be apparent.

But sooner or later, the wrong guy may know you have a nice sound system in your car. It's sad to say but that's the way it is .
