Custom Cup Holders For Your FD...

the one thing that I wish Mazda would have included. Just gauging interest in a custom cup holder for FD owners. Not the clip-on type, but a custom mounted OEM look cup holder that looks as if it was made for the FD. I should have some pics of it in a week or so. Details to follow if there's enough interest. Email me for details hdp501@aol.com

I am interested because I am about to buy the cup holder that clips onto the center console next to the e-brake ( Only cup holder I have seen that looks somewhat decent for the FD). I found it by looking through old threads. But I will wait until I see pics of this one before making my purchase. So please let us see the pics I am ready to finish my interior.

I like sipping my tea driving to work. It keep the commute interesting. I am using the pocket of the work bag to hold my drink now. I guess that works ok. I also have a cup holder that clips onto the vent but it doesn't look all that great and I don't think it holds a full cup well. Anyone try to mess w the ash tray and make a cup holder out of that? Nissan does something like that w the 300Z.

I'm not sure, but i think Gotham used to make a cup holder for the ashtray. But they dont sell it anymore. They said it held a 12 oz can or drink of that size, which would be great. But the problem with that, is it looks like it would interfere with shifting. Anyone else remember what i'm talking about?
