Lightbulb Custom (audi / bmw) Red Dome Light

When ever I drive a BMW / Audi, I am always amazed by the red ambient lighting inside the cabin.

Audi and BMW use red / amber to light their interiors since it goes with their color scheme.

Acura uses blue --- ricey in my opinion.

Anyways... I wanted the red interior lighting inside my Rx-7 Cabin since the 7's color scheme is red / amber.

I tracked down the part that Audi uses in their dome light and modified it to fit into the Rx-7 dome. Total install took about 30 minutes.

Anyways --- I will probably re do this because I messed up on the positioning and they are not 100% centered but it will work for now.

My turbo kit just got dropped off form Turblown Performance so I will get some pictures of the dome light once the car is up and running.

Thanks for looking guys

Red cabin lighting. How much for a lap dance? If you're JDM, you'd say you're Yakuza and your mobile Shinjuku-RX7 machine is the newest craze.

huh?

I do not even know how to react to what your saying 7envy?

I just wanted to have some cabin illumination like Audi's and BMW's have. Red lighting is great because at night you aren't blind without the actual dome light and since it is a low freq wavelength it does not interfere with your night vision.

I will certainly take a picture once I have things together. Just put the wiring harness back in and tomorrow I install the turbo so hopefully I can take it for a test drive
