Hi all, I just got a second Gen and the stereo is acting all funny. When I turn it on and adjust the volume, the sound crackles and the volume flucuates up and down. Does anyone know what is wrong?

If its the stock radio (over 10+years old...) it could just be a POS. Depending on how much money you want to spend and how much your looking to upgrade your stereo system, take that into account before purchasing a new head unit. I have a nice Pioneer cd head that is the model right below the one with the 3d animation, its great and has plenty of room for future mods.

Don't waste your time or money trying to fix that old deck, just pluck it out and play a lil baseball with it.
