convertible antennas
I installed a new head unit in my convertible and I just have a couple question about the antennas. There is an antenna in the windshield and on the back of the car. There are two antenna cables to hook up to the head unit, I was wondering if anyone knew which cable was which. One has a female end and one has a male end. Should I just connect one antenna or Y them together? Also, I connected the remote cable according to a scosche wiring diagram, but the rear antenna doesn't raise, any tips?
Thanks

The mail end is the one to the back, it's what you will use.
The wire that triggers the factory antenna is a neg. trigger. You will need to wire a relay in line to convert the positive output of the radio's remote lead to a negative output to trigger the antenna up. Use a test light to confirm you have the right wire first.
