hey well im in process of rebuilding a sadly state FD needless to say sitting around the garage and you start tolook at things. well looking at the gauge cluster and hvac controls consoles they had what looked like goo on them or soda or coffee, anyway i proceeded to try to "clean" it off well that didnt work needless to say. so i also found it was over the entirety of the pieces and that just wasent gonna work for me. so i tried to sand it off but i gooed up the sandpaper not really removing, not sure what to try next without destroying the plastic...hmmm.
well there it was laying around the shop laquer thinner...couple papertowels later and it was off, but the plastic was a dull graylooking and that would not work either. but hey i had good results with my bike and the satin black rattle can, why not try it out on here. unfortunatly i only had enough for one coat so ill haveto go get more but i think it turned outpretty good so far for 3hrs. pics posted
