Ew, Gross! Keep'em black.
I recently saw a thread about an innocent blue mica fd and the door handles were painted as well. It looked okay on that car, but you should see for yourself and make a decision from that.

i'm going to say keep it black...i like the stock look...new paint is cool, but painting things that aren't suppose to be painted is not for me...but, maybe if i saw one in life it might change my mind...

I did mine about 6 years ago when I slightly changed the color. I also did the interrior panels at the same time.

thjey are supposed to be black because they are integrated into the shape of the window. If you paint em, you'll screw it up...

Its almost as bad as painting the ouside of the tailight lens except for over the lights. Yuck.

Someone on here has a Grey FD w/ C-West kit. He painted his door handles too. Didn't look too bad.
I'd go w/ repainting it black though. Or get the carbon fiber handles. = P~~~

I've seen it done on silver cars, and it looks great. However, I don't think it would look too good in other colors. I'd have to see it, but I personally would keep it black.

IMO, it depends on the color of the car. The CYM FD looks great, but the VR FD doesn't look as good with them painted (no offense Satan, I'm also a VR owner! ).

Somthing got screwed up with that order. I ordered it when gtp had it overstocked, so it was only 99 bucks, but my credit card didnt go through for some reason, maybe it was maxed out at the time from buying too many other part for this money pit. At any rate, they never sent the bumper and my credit card never got charged. Oh well, i guess i will just keep the RE front for a while longer.

I had mine done at repaint: Montego Blue.
Looks good, but I would only do it on the dark colors MB or Black.
I agree that it doesn't look quite right on the lighter colors.

So I suppose my vote is Yes if Dark, no if not.

- Before painting, mine were tired & scratched, which may be another item of consideration.

It's like the clear reflectors. On some colors, it works (BB and CYM). Others, it doesn't.
