Check out this funky Japanese Head Unit
Just wanted to post a pic of my brothers new Japanese Sony double din head unit we just installed in his Mercedes C230 coupe. Its a very funky Sony MD and CD player. Installing was a bit of a pain, since its a Jap head unit, and mainly cause its a Mercedes as well. He got an FM tuner as well, but only gets half the FM and AM range of stations. But a really nice head unit you wont see around the states anyways.

I wanted it when I first saw it too. Looks really nice. You can change the display color into and bunch of different variations.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't play MP3 CD's.

Cool!
Hey Crashunit, the link provided above says that they include a FM converter. Try to contact them to see if you can purchase just the FM converter.
EDIT:
Actually, I just read the text near the bottom of the page.
"We have developed such a converter! Our 18MHz converter allows you to tune into FM stations from 94MHz to 108MHz. We includes this converter FREE with every radio purchase. We also have a 16MHz converter for customers who wish to listen to stations from 92MHz to 106MHz, available upon request - please write this in the Special Notes section when you order.
How does it work? For example, if you want to listen to 102.7 FM, you would tell your radio to tune into 102.7 - 18 = 84.7 FM. The radio will display 84.7MHz on the LCD display, but you will actually receive 102.7MHz. No internal modifications on the radio are necessary! Everything is done externally!"
It isn't a totally fix for the radio frequencies. It is basically a patch. I guess it is a price you'll have to pay to get this radio, unless you have a wiring/electronics expert figure out the proper way to fix it.

That looks so badass!
A very unique and cool design..
Only thing is no MP3
Also, how do you control some of the functions? There arent nearly enough controls to control everything...
Eitherway, that looks so badass
