Cheap sleek headlights (FD3S)

ok,

who here has one of these CHEAP headlight kits? how is fitment what does the kit come with?

ive seen a couple of the EVO-R kits and they're pretty decent

Ive only seen one set of evo-r's and they looked good. But at the same time many people here on the forum have complained about fitment, lighting, and customer service.

The other style of lights (CWEST style) arent real headlights and thus have horrible lighting. From what I hear the clear lense tends to crack easily.

IIRC Laz has had both of those types of sleeks. You should pm him.

Evo-r fit well enough, but the projectors they came with blow...

The lights from EVO-R are less than desirable. On the advice of another owner, I picked up some 4" lenses off of Amazon for around $40. They work surprisingly well...as in you can actually see a bit.

Fitment: I've been pleased with the fitment of mine.

I've seen several complaints regarding customer service from EVO-R so my advice would be get in writing/email/private message the following information if ordering directly from them:
1) Do you have this in stock? If Yes, ask the next question. If No, order elsewhere.
2) When will it ship.

It is unfortunate but I would do this to CYA in the event your order does not show up in a reasonable amount of time for a credit card dispute.

If you can get a set, I've been pleased with mine.

My car is autox/track only, and I am not overly concerned about fitment.

If it were a street car, I would use something else, or just keep the stock lights.

I picked up a FD that has the evo-r lights and I cant deside what is worse how they fit or how cant see with low beam. at night I drive around only high beam.

agreed thats why i said well enough, and not good or great, considering they are a 1/3 the price of the RE set

Yea, paypaled fd3s777 (vendor for EVO-R) 5 days ago $90 for a replacement lexan cover and he has not responded back yet. Was quick to give me his paypal address, since then no communication from him. Im hoping i wont have to file a paypal claim.

Fitment

Sorry, I don't have any fitment pics of our lights installed, just pics of the actual part.

I would like to get some pics of the parts installed. I've sold over 20 with no complains over the past few years, I might have some pics on my hard drive somewhere..

We also sell replacement lenses, our replacement lenses are thicker than the C-West originals.

I'll try to post some pics of our replacement lenses once I get a higher post count.

I'm interested in several of your products... Do you guarantee fitment on your CFH branded products? (After seeing chasers **** quality on several occasions I'm a bit too nervous to risk the $$$ for a product without a company guaranteeing fitment)

I can for the VegasAero products but since I don't have anything for the RX7 yet that doesn't really matter much. I would like to start making some RX7 products under the VegasAero name with a money back guarantee. I'll start with mirrors or maybe headlights.


As for the CFH products, let me know the specific one that you're interested. Most of the parts are from Chaser so if it's the same part then the fitment would be the same as chaser, however some parts like the BN blister kit or CW replacement lenses for instance are made by other manufacturers. I'll try to differentiate the brands so that It isn't all jumbled up into one.

Isn't chaser the one that has a horrible reputation on this board? Some things I would like to see in carbon fiber are things like the shifter panel, the din/ac controls, the gauge face and hood and a dash. Dry CF would be awesome but I would take wet also, just something that will hold up a bit better and can be painted.

I am not into the whole CF look but if I can paint it and it weighs less and holds up better than I am all for the parts and would pay a reasonable amount for them.

I understand, I will separate and rebrand them so that you can sort by chaser or cfh
