CD player works, radio doesn't

I initially thought that the sticky would help me, but that is for people getting no sound at all it seems. I'd hate to cut up my wiring for nothing. Can anyone give me any insight to my problem? I have the bose system, but I didn't bother reinstalling it, all 4 interior speakers work, but the bose didn't so I didn't put them back in.

The bose radio worked before, and the CD player didn't. Now the aftermarket CD player works, but not the radio.

If a CD works but no AM/FM radio...then you may want to check your wiring on your CD player. It may have came loose.

Sorry, IT would be your AM/FM radio connector wire, if that clears anything up. Its the bigger black wire. You'll know what I mean if you look.

So are you saying it may be disconnected from my harness?

That is a possibility. Have you checked your antenna? My radio wasnt working, and I checked it and found out it was broken. My dad ran my car through an automatic wash with the radio on and one of the big scrubber deals snapped it in half.

I replaced the antenna and nothing, because it did break at one point, but as soon as I put in my new head unit the radio didn't work, could it be something internal with the antenna? The radio worked on my stock head unit and the CD didn't, so I know the radio does work, just not right now with my new CD player, thank you for trying to help me out too.

Yeah sorry, If its not your antenna and you are sure that your AM/FM radio wire is hooked up to your CD player, then I dont know what the problem is. Id say take it to a local audio shop and have them look at it. They will charge you per hour, but I guess its worth it if you really want radio.
