I hope you have better luck then me with them. I ordered them a few month ago took a while to get as they are made when you order them, but when I got them and went to put them on they wouldn't fit right. The switch for the light wouldn't bolt up big gap the radio trim and cluster piece wouldn't line up and some other things. But I did send them pictures and he did refund me my full money back all i had to was pay for shipping back to Japan which I that was fair anyway. So good luck hope it all works out just don't wait to long to fit them.

There's a reason why I only bought one of the panels and not spent so much on the whole set........................I can afford to experiment with just one panel.

Carbon Fibre dash surround parts

Has anyone had luck with finding good carbon fibre dash and door trim parts. I saw one post from someone that was overlaying OEM parts....can't find the thread any more. Anyway, it wouldn't do me much good because I had to 'JB weld' all my mounting points....Florida weather made a lot of the plastic parts crumble. It's hard to find, or very expensive to get a complete set of dash and door parts, then have them overlayed....I'd rather just spend the extra money and get the parts completely made of carbon fibre. Very frustrating....I've completely restored this FD with excellent paint.... the car is beautiful...but the plastic interior is a bummer! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

there's this thread, but its been difficult getting pictures of the product.

I've spoken with Matt at Ocarbon, who primarily does euro cars, but his work is OEM+ for sure. He quoted me at about $1200 for the FD.

Thanks for your reply. There's so much old thread on this subject it's hard to sort thru...and then know what product is well made. I'd rather spend extra money once and get a well made product. It's a shame the original dash pieces are weak (especially '93s soft coating....took me 2 days of scraping and sanding to get that stuff off!)....I think the FD is a great car, it's worth making it nice.
