Can you polish nuts and bolts

AS my subject states can I polish my UIM and throtle body nuts and bolts or will they be effected.

Use stainless steel nuts and bolts so they will not rust, polish them for a long lasting shine .Garfinkle grinds the lettering and grade marks off before polishing .

You can also purchase polished nuts and bolts. I got mine from Pep Boys.

Use either stainless or chrome cap nuts for the UIM and throttle body. Not sure what nuts and bolts you're talking about however, as all mine in that location are cap nuts.
