Can anyone identify these rims?
I was curious if anybody could tell me which rims these are? I think they might be BBS RGR's but Im not sure.
I searched around on rotary extreme's site but in their project car it says that they are SSR prof.
Thanks for any help. Josh

That is the pic I was referring to. Thanks for the pics. They are pretty sharp and I was looking for a wheel with a mesh pattern like that.
First I was looking at the BBS RG-R's but they are a little out of my price range right now.
Then I saw a thread about a guys ADR M-sport and I was interested in them but a lot of people on the board said they weren't good quality and that they are cast and not forged.
So now I am trying to find a wheel like that.
I also am looking at Fikse's.
If you don't mind me asking where did you buy your wheels from?

jhammerrx7: Volk IIIs came out about 2-3 years ago and they are now discontinued. They *are* sweet wheels though and IMO one of the best looking I've ever seen on an FD.
If the BBS RG-Rs are out of your budget, the Fikses will be too. Their corresponding "mesh" design is the FM/10 and a new set will run you ~$3K.
The ADR M-Sports are a cheap, low quality, heavy alternative, and are generally disliked. If you get them, don't post pics of your car on the forum.
If you really want a mesh design wheel that's of good quality and not too expensive, look into BBS' RX. They run $332 in a 17x8 @ Tire Rack.

I found these speedline 2210's on the net on closeout for a pretty descent price. I think I may go with these. They don't have quite the spread of the split spokes but I really like the lip and they are a two piece. What do you guys think?

Yeah, I wasn't sure how much cost was an issue for this guy, so...viola! Ryan, pick me out some nice ones, I like the Racing Hart ones, but I don't think they're made in anything wider than like 7" in 17s. I like the "mesh" look though.

I spoke to a guy on the phone today and they do come in offsets for the FD. And 18 X 8.5's are $265 a piece and the 18 X 9.5's are $295 a piece. That is why I am interested.
And the reason price is a big deal right now is because the rims that were on my car when I bought them are screwed. The drivers side rear and the passengers side front will not hold air. They go flat in about 3 days and I am constantly filling them up. They are a discontinued MOMO in 17 X 8 and 17 X 9's. The chrome is peeling off and the air is seeping out around the lip. I have had the tires off several times and tried to get a good bead of sealant inside but it never lasts.
And also I just bought a type II spoiler and I want to order a body kit either later this month or next month. I have two buddies who are just graduating from Wyo Tech and they are going to install my kit and paint it. I have seen some of their work and they are both damn good.
I want to get my car's exterior looking better so this summer I can go to RX7 store and get it on a dyno because it needs a tune on my PFC. I don't want to pull up with my car looking like ****.
I am looking on the net and trying to find some weights on these wheels but I can't find anything yet. The momo's on there right now are pretty damn heavy. They have to be at least 48 - 55 pounds with the tire.
I am just tired of my car looking like **** so I am in kind of a hurry to get it cosmetically fixed. Sorry for confusing you about some of my info.

Forget the body kit and get some decent wheels. The car will drive and ride better.

In my humble opinion, if you don't like the aftermarket rims on the car now, sell them & buy some stock FD rims. When you decide which to get, and have the funds, you can always sell the stockers or keep them as backup

If you look at the website that I provided earlier it has the 18 X 8.5's at $410 a piece and the 19 X 9's at $500 a piece. That isn't too cheap. These are on closeout and that is why they are that low right now.
So you compromise on the wheels to add a body kit? Because the stock body looks like ****?
I'm not saying that the stock body looks like ****. Im saying that on my car the paint sucks and there are several dings on the hood and the doors and the rear bumper is cracked.
I would lay money down that those wheels you are looking at aren't any lighter.
I found on the net last night that they are 28 lbs a piece. That is just about the same weight as Blitz Technospeeds. I wouldn't be using these rims for racing or anything.
