bypassing bose system?
is there a way to bypass the bose system... after alot of searching i found that the speakers are each self amplified . and have their own sending units.
what im thinking of doing is bypassing the amps and running the speaker wires from the headunit directly to the speakers.
does any one know if this will work?
the main reason im doing this is because my left side speaker is barely audiable and the right speaker is playing loudly...

no the headunit will not produce enought power to run the speakers without the self contained amps.
You can send your units back to bose for repair, it used to be fairly priced when my father had his fixed in his 7.

oh im on an aftermarket headunit.. and speakers are aftermarket as well.
i found the answer...
i just need to run new wires from the headunit to the speakers and not use the factory lines.
