anyone in here know how to design a box? should be getting my 12" brahma from adire back in a week, want to put it in my FD. gonna hook up a jbl bp1200 to it. i want to have it ported. currently have my spare in the back but i don't even use it so i might take it out. anyone in here or from around NORCAL that can help design/build a box to fit the brahma specs and the FD? let me know, willing to pay some $$$

Try "Mr. Marv" from the Elite Car Audio forum. He's fabbed a couple of sub enclosures for me and his workmanship is top notch. His wood cutting tolerances are so precise that his enclosures use no glue or sealants - they're all wood and screws. You can fill one of his boxes with water and it won't leak! He's located in the Monterey area. Give him a call, tell him what you want, and he will build it for you.

i had two before i switched to 2 RE XXX's.

 

nice sub choice...and good bang for your buck amplifier as well...i had one of those pushing 2 jlw3 a few years back...pretty good amp. As far as designing a box to spec...try looking for a program called bassbox pro...i'm not even sure if they still make it...but it had a HUGE database of subs and their recommended enclosure types (sealed, ported, etc)
