Bose Wave whine

Bose Wave whine

I just developed a high pitched whine that is coming out of the driver's side rear wave speaker only when the radio is on, regardless of the volume setting. Anyone know what it might be?

Your amp has failed. You can send them out to get fixed though.

Well, there are 6in woofers in an isobaric configuration ONLY on the drivers side, the bulg.

Sounds to me like you need to upgrade your entire grounding system. If it is the ground, the pitch will get louder and louder respective of the load being applied to the engine. Does this happen? If not, try patfat's idea.
Upgraded grounds is the first 'mod' that should ever be done to our cars.
