Bose Wave replacement

For those that removed their bose wave speakers in the driver and passenger doors. Did you all have to fabricate a bracket to hold a set of aftermarket speakers and any advice or pics would be greatly appreciated. There isn't hardly any back space room in the actual door because the window is very close when the windows are rolled down. So I imagine that you would have to have something mounted to the inner door cover. Also I recall that the replacement size for the door speakers were 5.25's but is that for non-amplified bose speakers. Also what did you do with the center channel. I believe it is run of the passenger amplified bose speaker or a combination of both the driver and passenger side. My passenger ceased to work and so did my center channel. Now I don't have a stereo system, just a mono system I took out the passenger side amped-bose and tossed it in the trash. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
