Bose system issues.

I have the bose system with the "tubes" running through my trunk.and it dosnt play.i got a new antenna the head unit powers up switches station but no sound.it isnt the fuses.any help would be great.

I think you might have to get a security code to put in. See if you can read the service manual on that. it should be a stick IIRC.

Have you conencted up the remote turn on for the Bose amps to the 12v line from the amp (the amp turn on one, usually blue)?

If not, you need to splice it in - I think it was possible a red and green wire on the loom?

first get yourself a multimeter and make sure sure you are supplying power to the the snake. It's silly to attempt a fix an electrical problem without one.

did you recently put the tubes in or has it always been there and just stoped working when you put in the new antenna? that would narrow it down.

my car was found in a lot sitting for 6 years before it was given to me and as far as ive had it it hasnt worked.

behind each door speaker in the enclosure. not too sure about the sub. you can test to see if there is power getting to the amps in the door. if its not getting any then it has to be a fuse.

there are 4 wires going into the enclosure 2 for the speaker signal the other two for power.
