BOSE speaker question

ok, installed a new head unit, blew my left door speaker. it was the bose kind, so my question is where can i find another one, or does neone have a good one they are willing to sell. another route would be, does anybody have any suggestions to which kind i could put in on both sides (or just what size/depth) would work. as for the on top of the dash speaker, neone know the size to that? its not blown, just a lil crackly. thanks for the help

You can have it repaired directly from Bose, e-mail their customer service dept. But the issue to address is why that one blew. Bose amplifies each speaker individually, so if the speaker is receiving a normal signal that then get amplified again, that will be too much for it to handle.

The stock sized speaker is 2", are you sure that 3.5" speaker will fit? Also, it looks like the tweeter might not clear the grill. Have you tried this speaker on your car? If so, were there any fitment issues?

Anyways, I'm not too sure on how much Bose will charge you to repair those amps, but I'm sure it will be much more than www.carstereohelp.com will charge you. Also, once you get it repaired from them once, it comes w/ a lifetime warranty.

Did you use a high->low converter? If not, that's most likely the reason you blew out the speaker.

Somewhere I saw that it would. But if the stock size is 2" then I doubt it would fit.
