How can you tell if you have the bose sound setup? I just got my 93 FD, it has 5 speakers but no deck. So I dunno..

 

if your car came with bose, i believe it would have that snake-like bose tube going all around the trunk and it would take up like half the space back there.

 

Bose System only has 3 (2 doors+ ctr dash) spkrs + the Subwoffer/Bose tube in the back

If you have spkrs on the B pillars above the storage bins then it is not the Bose system or was a bose that was converted,

You can also check the ctr channel amp (in center console next to the glove box)- the BOSE one is in a black plastic case and says BOSE on it the non bose one is in a metal case, Also the BOSE door speakers have dedicated Amps mounted in the doors w/ the speakers in a big plastic enclosure.

The systems are not directly interchangeable as the use different dash wiring harnesses
