Which Bose Head Units Will Work
Does anyone have or know where I can find a definitive list of the Mazda bose head units that will work and fit in the RX7? I've searched and found the posting on the Miata 4H60 unit and an "unnamed" 2002 Millenia unit, but there are many mazda bose head units for sale on ebay that look identical to these but I don't know if they will work? Thanks.

You can put any (Bose) headunit you like in the RX-7. It's just a matter of the wiring harness. Hell, I had even entertained tossing an older Nissan Altima headunit in until I found the 05 Miata unit nearby.
For the record, Mazda wiring harnesses were revised in 92-93 IIRC and again in 06. Find a single or even double DIN headunit and compare the plugs you see. All of the FD harnesses work with all of the like-generation Mazda units; I know that for sure.
It's not about being a shining audio "folk." Honestly, it's about a little head scratching and observation!
