bose cd player port adapter?

I've searched the site but I couldn't much information on this. I have a '93 touring and I really like the stock bose system since I've had it repaired and it's sounding like new again. However, having a single cd player is limiting these days so I'd like to swap the bose cd player for an Alpine HDA-5460:

Has anyone out there successfully wired in an aftermarket cd changer or other device through the cd player port on the back of the bose headunit?

Its went right over your head. :P

Bose/Schosche Adapter for aftermarket headunits:

Wiring Diagram for Bose system:

It was easy for me to swap, just get the adapter and whatever HU you want. Tons of people have done the swap as the Bose player is so old many have just failed. (like mine)

Actually I'm not looking to replace the head unit, just the standalone cd player. I just had my head unit and the amps repaired so my system sounds like new again. I suspect nobody has tried plugging an aftermarket cd player/changer into the DIN port on the back of the bose head unit so does anybody have the wiring diagram for that DIN port for the cd player?
