Unhappy Bose 'buzzing' head? amp? elec antenna? ground? help? lightening strike? :P

Hi all, before I go any further, I searched the word Bose on the entire forum, closely inspected and opened ten pages of threads, and havent found an answer, so I'm asking directly.....

I have a 93 touring w/ the Bose system of course. Seems recently I have experienced minor interference with the radio reception, very rarely and for a couple seconds at a time, warning me to be on the lookout for more problems, but I'm a busy guy, and, my back is 'out' so to speak (old footballl injuries yadda yadda) so I havent torn anything apart, so heres the story:

This morning on the way to work, listenin to radio, thunderstorm brewin outside.
See a flash come through my rear window, instantly start to hear buzzing in radio, check balance buzz is central, no change when speakers left and right, a clear fairly loud buzz, doesnt matter what mode i.e. cd radio cd, same buzz same buzz volume regardless of radio control volume.....

Now whenever I turn the radio on,I get the buzz constantly, and the radio reception is also much worse but still functions.

So I used to own a T2, electric antenna went out one time, simular symptom, except could hear engine rpm change in frequency of buzz, replaced it, all good.

I had the antenna replaced (at dealer)on this one about 15-20k miles back,
could the antenna have been hit by the lightening and fried if it wasnt grounded properly? (dont let dealers touch your car lol)

would the crappy rx7 engine and radio grounds make my antenna more suseptable to a lightening strike? am I crazy? was it all a horrible coincidence? lol

also, could it be the amp? the head unit itself? , Ive got a long commute, a bad back and limited time to troubleshoot, so any knowledge would be greatly appreciated

So, Day 2, Drove to work, upon further inspection, noticed more buzz and distortion volume from passenger door speaker than driver side, will have to pull it apart this weekend, perhaps I just have a bad door speaker...so .....anyone wanna comment? the buzz sounds like a cosistent electronic cricket - Is this a typical symtom of the speaker going bad? suprisingly, in all my years, I have killed very few if any speakers, so I wouldnt know what to be looking for....

also, am I getting no response because my thread is to long???

LOL just trying to be descriptive...

Disconect the antena wire first listen for the sound if it stops change your ant, if it keeps on making the sound than disconect your ground wire and test it in diffrent ground spots (with the car running) to see if it stops. if it stop ground it there. And if you have a ground reducer plug on your altenater ditch that crap and thats your problem. Needless to say you've got a ground problem somewhere.
