I bought a non-Bose Oem Mazda Cd player but I'm getting no sound. I know I have to connect to the radio relay to turn on the amps, but is there a wire for that relay inside the car instead of running the wire to the engine. Can't seem to find it in the manual.

 

Can I just tap the LG/B (Amp Wire) to the L/B (ACC Wire) on the radio harness to turn on the Amp.

 

yes you can. try the power antenna wire as well...but check w/ a light if it's only on when the radio is on.

 

The antenna wire doesnt carry power. I hooked it up the the ignition wire on the radio harness and that worked, but now the radio doesn't turn off when the key is taken out. Doesn't turn off until you press the power button on the radio. Any suggestions.

 

I dont know anything about FDs but i used the search button and found this.
