Did the taillight mod, and didn't use the same 80 and 75 mm that seems to be the norm. First off the blinker light is not the same %age size that the jspec one is in relation to the others. Visually I think you'll agree, secondly, 75/80 = 94% of the size - barely a difference from the eye. When I blew up the stock jspec picture 400% and compared the difference I got 90.3% and as someone suggested they would use larger sizing to better represent the jspec look. So I chose 85mm & 77mm which yielded a difference from the brake to the blinker of 90.5% - good enough.

I used the same approach for determining the distance between the lights and found that between the breaklights we should use around 1.9cm distance and between the brake light and blinker we should use 2.1cm. Unfortunately in my finite wisdom / lazyness I didn't properly account for the spacer between the two lenses - which is probably 1/5inch or so. So I think the blinkers are a bit further out than they should be. -- which is kind of a good thing as it makes the rear end appear wider (I like big butts).

Anyway that's about it take a look and let me know what you think!

It does make the rear end seem a little wider but not much. There is not much difference but I do like yours better for some reason.
