Am I the only one that likes the 93-95 front with an R1 lip over all these aftermarket fronts ...

Not to mention rolling/cutting the fenders for some of these wides..
You people stay far away from my FD

If I had to guess from the photos, I'd say it's the BURNOUT kit, the KD-I type II version?

I do love when a car has a really nice kit and wheels to match, and is keeping true to a theme. But i would also have to agree with your statement. I think that the 93-95front looks great, it really maintains the flowing lines on the FD.

The last set of pictures is the Tamon Design kit, probably the most famous (at least to me) car that wore it was Scoot's wicked 4 rotor NA project.

This kits is actually the Maruta kit that is produced by the Tamon company. It costs about $15,000US just to purchase. Its becoming quite popular in Japan at the moment amongst the people who want to give their beloved FD an upgrade. The workshop that makes the kit, advertises the kit and installation for about $25,000.

It takes a lot of guts to change the design of the Fd and when Koseki san from Scoot penned his 4 rotor design, he needed someone to build it. He called upon Tamon Design to sculpt the beautiful 4 rotor and the company has continued on. A guy called Maruta san liked the four rotor so much he asked for his own interpretation. This time the front end also came in for more of an upgrade on the red machine.

Tamon themselves have now embarked on a demo car project. This time, the back, front and roof received the chop and It must be said that the lines of this convertible take some beating. The Nissan Cedric rear lights have definately found a nicer place to live. This car has been around for a while now but the detail is still being refined. The gorgeous bonnet hides V-mount and all the little details gel to produce something quite special.
Heres a link to the site, plus they have pics of the process one undertakes. The red one above was actually for sale recently for 27,000US. Which is about the same amount that a normal FD would cost without the kit.
