Hi I am currently having my rx7 fd3s changing its body kit from a c west to the Vertex body kit.. but today I went to the shop and saw that the gap between the hood and the front body kit is not atached its seperated about 1-2 inches.. my car has never been in an acident.. the kit fits perfectly except for the hood part.. whats wrong?? how can I ix it? it feels as if the hood is 2 inches short..

also depends wat hood u got and if the hood / vertex body kit are replicas and who made them

 

sorry about the pic.. did'nt have the chance to take em.. anyway I'll post a pic of another car I found on the net that has a similar prob like mine.. and the bodykit's an official one I ordered from japan.. 100% sure.. and my hoods stock 1995 fd3s touring

Where did you get the kit from?

 

May be you have to align your hood bracket assuming that the body kits are perfect, try to realign it first...
