Ever seen a nice pair of Fikse FM5s? It looks like the entire thing is polished. THAT'S the look I'm goin for...so hopefully, I think the GT3s I have will look all nice and shiny polished up

Yes I know that is why I scaled down to polished alluminum which is bright but not that much.
Anyway I will have to wait a bit more for them A water pump substituation and a needed oil seal substituation menaing the opening up of the grear box will have to be done first.
Yes white rims only on black though are simply great. Might paint the actual yokohama I have white still with the youkohama semi slicks on and keep them with the league with the bridgestone in the future.

Well I wanted to know too, and I looked it up. It means Special Brilliant Coating. Enkei uses it on their wheels as an option. They use a synthetic coating and different cosmetic techniques to acheive the same shine as chrome produces, without adding extra weight. They look to me like they are in between chrome and a high polished wheel.

Hmm...I wonder who does this brilliant coating...cuz I'd really be interested in it, esp. since polishing would remove any coating you have on the wheels...vs cleaning the wheels and applying a coating of something on them. I dunno...just sounds better (for the wheel).

I am even more interested now. Wonder if my sprayer can do it as well I will try to ask. In the meantime if someone has more detailed info I think all of us would be pleased to here,

The decision is made
First of all I would like to thank all who stated their opinion here. The decision was finally made. I went for polished aluminum. More exactly the one below.
The LG 133

They are ready available for the RX7 here and even if they were not my first choice on the catalogue they are quite in line with the simple diesgn I wanted.
Should be here on Thursday if everything goes well.
I will post a new thread when they are on.
Thanks again.

I would go on and polish them all over for sure.
