Black or Inoccent Blue Mica?
ok soon im gonna be repainting my fd. right now its briliant black. i really love inocent blue mica but i dont plan on repainting my engine bay so im not sure how goofy it will look, i cant really imagine it in my head. do any of you buy chance have a black engine bay with and ibm exterior? if so hows it look? and do u have any pics? if not what do u guys think would it look good? thanks

Black in the engine bay would be fine IMO, so long as it was in good condition. The problem is when you have any of the other brighter colors which present a pretty wild contrast to whatever paint it is you have on the exterior.
Are you worried about the cost of removing your engine to paint the bay? If so, a few people have had the bay painted with the engine still inside the car, and it came out well. It takes a bit of work, but its still an option.

thanks guys for the input and thanks east for the pics, it does actualy help.i like black but i love ibm... and i ya it is the cost of having to remove the engine bay especialy since i would have to most likely take my car to a differnt shop to have the engine removed and installed then take it to the paint and body shop. just too much of a hastle. i probably wont end up painting it till june tho cause i have to wait for my burnout kit from the group buy to come . after seeing ur pics east, i think i will probably end up painting it ibm.

I think a black engine bay is fine I actually wish mine was black cause it will hide any blemishes.
My boyfriend painted mine daytona blue but my car was red so I had to spray the bay. When i did my downpipe things got all scratched up and we have to touch it up. Keep the engine bay black and paint the car it you want.
