Black FD Pics - I'll start with mine

Here is a picture of my FD it's new wheels. I liked it so much that I made it my avatar. I'm probably going to get a paint job this winter and am considering a new front bumper. The problem is that I haven't seen any that I like better than the stock one so I'm hoping we get a bunch of black FD pictures that will help me make a decision.

Sorry guys. I had a picture added but thought it was too small so I erased it. Now when I try to put a bigger picture up it tells me that it's only partially loaded. I've deleted a bunch of my older pictures but still I get the partially loaded message. Let me try again...

As you can see in the bigger picture the front bumper cover is warped - probably from heat. When I get a new paint job I figure I'll buy a new bumper cover but the question is do I buy a stock one or go with something aftermarket. Of particular concern is the fact I have a Greddy 3 Row intercooler to install and I'm worried about getting enough air to it and the radiator. I used to like the 99 spec front ends - right up until my friends told me that it gave the car a "smiley" face. Now everytime I see a 99 spec car I can't get rid of that "smiley" face image. It looks too cutesy for me now. I've also thought about the C-West front but I'm not sure what it would look like on a black car.

Get the one with the licence plate holder looks more aggrseive look and no smiley face look..and well ya u might not get enough air in with the stock 99 spec bumper thats why i opted v-mount

I got the rims used off e-bay from a guy that brings them in from Japan. They are a 3 piece Rays Engineering wheel in 17 x 9.5 at the back and 17 x 8.5 at the front. They say "Payton Place" on them but other than that I don't know much else. Up close they have gold studs and a thin gold trim around the outer lip. They currently rub a little on the fender liners and on sharp turns they will rub the outer lip. The rims the previous owner had on actually pulled the outer lip edges out. I'm thinking that I will get the fenders rolled at the same time as the paint job. Hopefully that and a little negative camber will solve my rubbing issues.

how about the Mazdaspeed front end? personally, once I get a FD (after college so I can afford an "oh ****" fund), this is what i'm going to go with instead of the '99 spec front end because of

a.)more open front for more air flow
b.)no smiley look
c.)i havn't seen many people with it

Fritz Flynn - I had you pegged for CYM type of guy

My BB has the same old tired/wavey warped factory bumper. Some get the warping and others don't. It just looks tacky untill we get new ones.

Fritz: I personally think that your FD would look better with Fikse's rather than CCW's..... but that's just my personal opinion
