Sorry guys...

I posted this because I saw pics of Nick Fousekis' RX-7 and I really really liked the style. I'm in Ontario, Canada where if I get caught speeding 50KM over or "racing" I can lose my car and my drivers permit.
The style does 2 things for me:
1. Make sure that I dont drive the car too fast -wouldn't want to hit a bump on the crappy roads and rub a fender/scratch a rim...
2 . Make me look great while I drive slow...

I know most of you guys are enjoying your 7's because they are true sports cars, and you can get out and tear it up. I can't. I can't afford to lose my licence because I want to drive hard. Also If a car is raced on the street in Ontario the Police can crush it. If you play it safe - you take your car to the track, the cops are just waiting for you to drive home and almost always pull you over and try to find something "unsafe" or some "illegal mod"... Using the car for what it actually is - It's just not a reality up here...

So this is just the next best thing... Looking good

Sad, so sad. The car is called an R1 for a reason. What a waste. Car looks clean though.

wait.. wtf? I also live in Ontario and I dont drive my car hard on the streets. Take it to the track.

Your putting these ugly rims on your car as an excuse for you NOT to speed? Honestly you will get laughed at wherever you go with those rims man. I guess everyone has different tastes but seriously you think those 20 inch rims look good on a fd?

bling...... what?

seriously though, I don't think you can fit 20s unless you tear the fenders open.

Just to calm everyone down...

OK, so I got my rims. everyone might like them. might not... I think they are great for this car, and I got a great deal on a set of super light racing wheels. Piaa Racing - yup its real JDM!

I got them and they were white. I hate white wheels so I had them powder coated in a mirror silver color. It looks like the ceramic heat layer stuff...

Check them out:

What? I think you're better off with a Range Rover, Hummer, or Escalade then.

hey 7 rocket,
The sizes are 17x8 with 225/45R17 tires front and 17x9 with 255/40R17 rear. Yeah, fairly conservative, but I have been looking at the specs the race guys are posting and they go for either small stuff like that or for massive stuff that I could never afford...

Glad you went with something tasteful, you would have regretted the 20's. Hope to see your car at local meets this year
