Im thinking about doing a chrome exchange on my stock FD wheels but the previous owner painted them black and for some reason the wheel company won't let me exchange them if they are painted. So whats the best way to remove it w/o damaging the surface of the rim? thanks

Sounds like it cheap pant if it looks like **** . paint stripper should work just fine
