best paint for factory interior finish

In the proces of repainting my FD interior panels. I've stripped the pieces down to the bare plastic, now im just trying to decide what paint to go with. I'm wanting something close top the factory flat black, yet durable. Was possibly considering an auto extrior black with no clearcoat to remain nonglossy, or maybe flat black bumper paint? any suggestions?

Go to Wal-Mart. They have some black Bar-B-Que pit spray paint that's pretty close to the factory finish. Also because it's a high temp paint, it should be really durable. I used this to repaint my peeling ash tray, my windshield wiper arms, and my 99 spec rear lights.

Whatever you do DON'T buy Krylon for plastics, it is garbage. It is suppose to bond with plastic on a molecular level and be scratch resistant after 7 days. I paint'd my interior pieces with it and everytime I have to handle the pieces it gets an new scratch and you can see the orginal color underneath

If you don't clearcoat it, it will wear and peal (again).

I use the low gloss black engine paint on my interior panels, and it comes out as close to identical as my eye can tell. no peeling in the last couple years either, just make sure you scuff sand, and the panels are very clean and dry.

How about the panels showing any wear (like the center panel from resting an elbow or anything)?
