Okay so i got an old battery here that's been sitting for the past 10 years...it reading around 8 volts on the multimeter. was wondering if there is anyway i could bring it back to life? I'm on a tight budget so if you guys have any tips or suggestions let me know. was also wondering if you would be able to jump a car with that low of voltage reading on the battery?

 

you can try it and see, if it hasn't been fully discharged there is a chance it hasn't dropped a cell, but after 10 years i wouldn't be too hopeful.
