I have a B&M short shifter in my 1994 rx7 and wanted to order a new shift boot from redlinegoods.com, but I don't know how much shorter the short shifter I installed is shorter than the stock lever. If anyone out there installed a B&M short shifter in their 3rd gen rx7, can you please help me if you know the height difference.

 

heres an idea why dont you call redline and ask them im pretty sure they have been asked this question before.

heres another idea if you stil have the original shifter measure it and then look on the B&M website at the specs of the shifter you have

 

I have contacted redline before through e-mail and they instructed me to do exactly what their site says. They do not have a live person to talk to, only an automated answering service that sends them an e-mail and they e-mail you back.

If I had the original shifter, I wouldn't be asking what the difference in height was vs the stock lever.

ask redline if they can modify the stock boot to your new shifter height. just measure your shifter and give them the dimensions
