audiophiles identify this thing please

found them in the door of my lexus when i decided to fix my busted up stereo. not sure what it is but im thinking crossover maybe?

2-way crossover. I'd say it's mid-high range due to ferrite in coils, other than that they can be used

yep, a crossover. now to find some mid drivers and some tweeters at the same rms wattage and you'll be set.

Its is a 2-way crossover. Whoever had the car before messed up when they took their speakers and tweets out and left the crossover behind. They are not cheap to replace...

Kicker Crossovers too. They aren't the best, but far from the worst.

Decent mid-range crossover.
