audiophile system guys plz help
audiophile system guys plz help
looking for pics from the audiophiles out there.
search the forum a bit and found lots of info on the loudest and the biggests--thats not really what I am after...fwiw sony explode is not audiophile by my definition
who has the best, most seemless install and what are your feelings on the cleanest sounding set ups. If i'm gonna yank the bose out I want it to look perfect and sound tight and clean.
i'm thinking nakamichi cd-45 changer as a head unit-->almost factory look....I have boston accoustics all around in my other car but they have little depth and are a little too brash--imaging setup probably wrong as well......mb quartz maybe? not too sold on components yet....no depth either. thinking maybe 2, 6 inch subs for tight quick responsive bass...maybe 8's in the storage bins--afraid that might be too much though
there are no high end car audio stores near me and they dont really have audiophile review for car systems.....so your help is greatly appreciated.

I would pass over on the Nakamichi head unit. Although they sound great it will constantly skip on you. If you want true high end sound get Denon's new head unit but if your budget can't stretch that far then the JVC digifine series are pretty good. They come with 24 bit burr brown da convertors. For speaker I would go for either CDT, Rainbow, or even ADS. Don't even think about MB Quart if you think the Bostons are bright. The Quarts will make your ears bleed. As for subs I would go for the Image Dyamics. They use very little air space and are wonderful SQ subs. You can find most of what I'm talking about here:

Hi Aron,
planning a serious sound installation? Ask me. We can do it by eMail.
I hope my English will be good enough to tell you what it depends on. Not only the components, the installation itself and the setup are very important!
