Audio Question...Nav

Looking at different sites and couldn't come up with a definitive answer if the Pioneer AVIC-N1 will fit in my FD. I'm not looking for a double din, or something really expensive. Some of those double din's cost more than $2,000, and i'm not spending that much.

I'd like to buy a Pioneer if possible, i'd even consider the N-2...just cause it's a newer version.

Does anybody have any suggestions, or if you have the N1 or N2 installed...could you please post a pic.

P.S. I checked Crutchfield, and Best Buy...and neither of them said it would fit.

Thanks!!

Its too long is the problem. If you cut the metal bracket behind the top din it will fit. I got the D1 dual din. We have it on clearance at best buy for close to a grand.

You don't have to cut ****. I bought it for the FD when it first came out, like 3.5 years ago, and have since moved it to the daily driver.
My beef with it was reaching behind the screen to adjust the A/C controls.

I can think of at least 2 threads in which this has been answered....
