attn those with c-west front..

i got the front put on my car about a month ago and bottomed it out for the first time pulling into this motel parking lot down the beach this weekend. heres the damage..

does anyone have a similar thing going on? how could i fix it? would anyone be interested in a carbon fiber protector for under the bumper. i was thinking something that was flush to the bottom of the bumper, and also came up a little bit in the front to hide my damage and protect it from happening more. i just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in this. thanks. - steve prew

If you had a "carbon fiber protector" made, it still would be scratched. The area of damage on your bumper is not solely limited to the very bottom of the car, so whatever you produce will still get scratched. The only difference would be where the damage occurs. In your case, the damage occured along the outer "lip" of your bumper.

Would a "carbon fiber protector" prevent the damage that you experienced? No,..unless you extended the "plate" to at least 3 inches past the bumper.
